Viewpoints has a mission to improve communities by providing safe, supportive, and affordable housing to justice-involved men, while empowering them to live productive and crime-free lives as they navigate and overcome the barriers of re-entry. Our services are specifically for justice-involved men that are required to register on the sex offense registry, or who have been convicted of a sex crime.
Our vision is of a society where all people can live freely, without fear of retribution, without fear of physical or emotional harm, and without unjust barriers to a quality life.

Viewpoints understands that some people need a helping hand when they start a new life after incarceration. All people should be given the opportunity to make a contribution to society while living a successful life. With your volunteer support and financial generosity, Viewpoints has been able to help a select group of individuals to achieve that goal. It is a common misnomer that former offenders are perpetually dangerous. In fact, this is largely untrue. In May 2019, the U.S. Department of Justice released the report, Recidivism of Sex Offenders Released from State Prison: A 9-Year Follow-Up (2005-2014) shows that people convicted of sex offenses are actually much less likely than people convicted of other offenses to be rearrested or to go back to prison.
The Viewpoints program is designed for men being released from incarceration for a sex offense conviction; men who will also be required to register as sex offenders. The sex offender treatment program for the state of Missouri is located in the city of Farmington. These men will apply for the program, be interviewed by Viewpoints staff, agree to the terms of the program, and if they meet our criteria, be invited to live in our transitional life settings.
